MRI128 Rack Mount Ethernet Switches Westermo

Westermo offers a new line of Rack Mount Ethernet Switches for Control Room Use. What sets Westermo's products apart from the competition is its attention to the most demanding of environments. Even though these products are designed for the control room environment, they are manufactured for demanding applications, including an industrial temperature range.

Within the MRI series, Westermo is providing for both a rack mounted switch and a switch that offers Power over Ethernet. There are two primary models and 5 different configurations. These units also include the capability for up to 4 SFP slots, allowing for different types of connectivity over various distances.

Units are available for both AC and DC power. The Power over Ethernet units include sufficient internal current capabilities.

MRI128 Rack Mount Switch
	Features Include: 24-port 10/100-TX and 4-port Gigabit RJ-45/SFP combo ports (10/100/1000 Base-TX, 1000Base-X) Non-Blocking Switching Performance, high backplane single chip solution RSTP and Multiple Super Ring for network redundancy IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol for precise time synchronization Jumbo Frame up to 9.216 byte 88-264 VAC power or 12-48VDC power
The i-line MRI-128-F4G series, is a special design for control rooms where high-port density and performance are required. The 4 Gigabit Combo port design allows 10/100/1000 triple speed, and the SFP ports accept all types of Gigabit SFP transceivers for several connections and distances. The device is mounted within the 19 inch rack, along with other 19 inch public servers or other network devices. When industrial switches are aggregated to the I-line MRI-128-F4G, the design allows connecting multiple rings and 2 Gigabit rings. Each of the ring has its own ring redundancy protection.

MRI128-F4G-PSE Rack Mount Switch with Power over Ethernet

The i-line MRI-128-F4G-PSE series is a rack mount high port density PoE switch, designed for critical and large-scale PoE applications such as real time IP video surveillance with high resolution quality and the evolving wireless communication systems such as Wimax and 802.11 a/b/g/n Access Points. All of the 24 Fast Ethernet PoE injector ports of the switch can deliver 15.4W by IEEE 802.3af or 30W by the latest High Power PoE IEEE 802.3at standard. The 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports provide high speed uplink to connect with higher level backbone switches. The switches can aggregate multiple fast Ethernet and 2 gigabit rings while providing high quality data transmission. Furthermore, to ensure the traffic switching without data loss and blocking, the I-line MRI-128-F4G-PSE provides backplane with the integrated non-blocking switching function.
