| The
SDW-500 series is a range of unmanaged industrial
Ethernet switches with flexible combination of TX-
(copper) and FX-(fiber) 10/100 Mbit/s ports. The ports
are set up for auto-negotiation of line speed and
full/half duplex connection; however DIP switches do
allow each port to be individually configured if
necessary. All TX ports support MDI/MDI-X which means
there will never be a problem as to whether to use a
standard or crossover patch cable. The screen of each TX
port is individually isolated to help prevent earth loop
problems within the network. The unit has a wide DC power
input range with polarity protection as well as being
able to accept power from dual sources. With extended
temperature range supported as standard the SDW-500 is a
basic switch designed to be used the harshest
environments. |

| The
Westermo SDI-550 is a simple unmanaged 5-port
10/100Base-TX Ethernet switch. Its compact IP31 rated
aluminum case allows the unit to be fitted into a very
small space on an industry standard DIN rail. The
Westermo SDI-550 can operate with variable power sources
being able to accept AC 18 to 27 V or DC 18 to 32 V on a
removable connector block. A single relay output is
provided to allow port link down events to be indicated,
This function is configured by a simple DIP switch. The Westermo SDI-541 is an
industrial fast Ethernet switch with four 10/100Base-TX
ports and one 100Base-FX port. Two versions are available
with the SC2 variant capable of data transmission over 2
km with multi-mode fibre or 30 km by single-mode fibre
using the SC30 model. Its compact IP31 rated aluminum
case allows the unit to be fitted into a very small space
on an industry standard DIN rail.

| The
ED-200 is an industrial Ethernet router with integrated 4
port switch that can be configured for use in a number of
different applications. As a basic PPP Router using
Dial-in or Dial-out the unit can be used to gain access
to a remote Ethernet network via a Westermo modem.
Multiple user identification and passwords along with a
simple IP level firewall provides ample security. The
ED-200 can also be used to link two Ethernet networks
together over a private wire, PSTN, ISDN, GSM or radio
modem. The connection is totally transparent so
additional software is not necessary. Configuration of
the unit is simple, the switch has MDI/MDI-X and
auto-negotiation, and all other settings uses Windows
based programming or the integrated Web tool. Galvanic
isolation on all ports (not between serial port and
configuration port) enables the device to be used in
projects where a high degree of reliability is required. |

ED-210 is an industrial Ethernet router with integrated 4
port switch and telephone modem that can be configured
for use in a number of different applications. As a basic
PPP Router using Dial-in or Dial-out the unit can be used
to gain access to a remote Ethernet network. Security and
passwords along with IP level firewall provides security.
The modem is equipped with transient protection on the
line side and a “watchdog” that monitors and
automatically resets the modem in the event of a fault.
Configuration of the unit is simple, the switch has auto
